The media industry at the beginning of the 21st Century faces several major and some still unresolved challenges regarding the complete digitalization of products and processes. In particular content intermediaries such as television broadcasters, publishers and online aggregators, are affected by significant changes. Analysing these content intermediaries was the goal of the interdisciplinary research project „Intermedia“ at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. This book presents selected results of „Intermedia“. Decision makers get a compact insight into current research efforts by this book.
